Your investment in RPAC (REALTORS Political Action Committee) directly helps efforts at the local, state, and federal level to engage lawmakers whose work aligns with the real estate industry. RPAC is the only political group in the country organized for REALTORS and run by REALTORS. RPAC exists solely to further issues important to REALTORS Whether you are a broker, full-time REALTOR or a part-time REALTOR, politics directly impacts your business. RPAC has helped us earn a seat at the table with legislative and policy decision makers and has helped accomplish numerous legislative victories: Fighting Rent Control and Other Onerous Landlord-Tenant Laws Fighting Home Building Moratoriums Fighting Tax on Real Estate Services Passing Efforts That Expand Marylands Housing Supply Passing Legislation Banning Real Estate Appraisal BiasPassing Legislation Establishing and Addressing the Elderly Property Tax CreditThank you for your commitment to contributing to RPAC
**RPAC contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions to RPAC are voluntary and are used for political purposes. The amounts indicated are merely guidelines and you may contribute more or less than the suggested amounts. The National Association of REALTORS and its state and local associations will not favor or disadvantage any member because of the amount contributed or a decision not to contribute. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal. 70% of each contribution is used by your state PAC to support state and local political candidates; 30% is sent to National RPAC to support federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 52 U.S.C. 30116.
